18 year old student Laura Dowd is on her first trip outside the US when she begins dating the charming and well spoken Michael Millborrow. 

Soon there after, Laura accepts Michael's invitation for her and her friends, Kelly and Trevor to spend the weekend at his family's stately home. 

Intimidated by Sawney House Laura's and her friend’s discomfort grows after meeting Harriette, the doting mother who harbours a peculiar affection for her son and Philip, the vain and mysterious father. 

Polite conversation turns to Laura's worst nightmare when she discovers that she is not the dinner guest, but the dinner itself. One by one, the young group is prepared for the evenings dinner party. 

Laura will need all her strength to survive Sawney House if she is to outlast the main course.
