Two boys grew up in wartime London. One was Martin, a lonely swottish child. The other Dovidl, a brilliant young refugee violinist from Warsaw. Blood-brothers, they roamed the ruined city, finding tragedy and triumph in the dark side of war-torn London. It was the time of their lives.
