Suria knows many sides of the business, as she started out in Client Services and now plays a versatile role in the Film & Marketing department. From collating the information for the monthly film valuations, approvals & selection meetings, to organising events such as our networking lunches, Suria describes her role as diverse and highly enjoyable.
Shelly Bancroft is our principal point of contact for producers wishing to submit projects for funding. She is responsible for sourcing, tracking and the assessment of projects during the film selection process.
Her experience includes: Head of Development for Matrix Film Finance LLP and Head of Creative Affairs (Europe) at MGM-Pathe, and industry appointments for the NFTS and the Arts Council Lottery Fund. She consults as an ‘Expert' Assessor for MEDIA and originally trained as a film director on the MA at the RCA Film School.
Marcus deals with many of the day-to-day administrative requirements of the company and clients. Prior to this role, he has worked for various banking & finance institutions such as Lombard, Abbey Business & ING Lease in both administration and credit & risk roles. He is a qualified accountant with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
John is a retired Chartered Accountant who has a wealth of experience in accounting and financial management. His early career in commerce was spent in Bermuda providing accounting and consulting services. He has been Finance Director of numerous companies in Bermuda and the UK, including shipping, investment and insurance companies.
John has had his own accounting practice for many years and has acted as consultant to a number of start-up businesses. He is a consultant to Premiere Picture.
Jason is a film lawyer and spent 10 years at Denton Wilde Sapte and then DLA Piper UK LLP specialising in film financing. He has represented many of the main players in the film sector at one time or another, including most of the US Studios, producers, US and European banks, promoters and funds. He has advised on many of the cutting edge and pioneering film finance structures that have come to the film market in the last decade and has represented the ever expanding team for many years.
Fleur has worked for the company for over twenty years and is responsible for all the Corporate Secretarial work. She is qualified with The Institute of Legal Secretaries & PA's for her Legal Secretarial Diploma.
Fiona assists Marcus with the administrative requirements of the company and its clients. Previous to her role with Premiere, Fiona worked for the Virgin Entertainment Group for 12 years, culminating in the position of Display Coordinator within the marketing department.
David Rogers FCCA, FFA, FIA, FFTA, is Principal of JS&Co LLP, Tax Advisers and Chartered Certified Accountants, and Consultant to Premiere Picture. His activities include advising Premiere on business, financial and tax matters and joint ventures in the media business. He has been involved in financing and co-producing British Qualifying films since 1998.

David has a wide variety of experience in Sales and Marketing, acting as consultant to companies including Allied Land PLC and Service Corporation International.
Having completed an International MBA in 2000 David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in sales and marketing to the team. He has built up strong client, customer and business relationships, earning the trust and respect of those professionals and peers.
Claire is responsible for all things marketing at Premiere, from our strategy to our social media and everything else in between. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Prior to working for Premiere Claire started her career in sales and then moved over to marketing whilst working for the global engineering consultancy Mott MacDonald.
Alex has had a varied sales and marketing career with companies including Coors, Diageo and Mood Media.
More recently he co-wrote and produced a feature film starring Mark Benton, Michael Smiley and Ronni Ancona and brings direct experience of the film financing process including, securing EIS and UK Film status for his own production.
Alex joined Premiere in October 2013 where his customer focus and film knowledge enables him to identify opportunities for his expanding client base.
Alena is the Production Executive on all SEIS features and documentaries. She is responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring they are prepped, in budget and on schedule in order to deliver in accordance with the production schedules. She works closely with producers and is the liaison between the production team and the financiers. Should you be interested in submitting a project for SEIS funding, please contact Alena directly.
Alena is also a main point of contact for Premiere's on going active-funded films. Once Premiere has closed on an acquisition Alena tracks the progress of the films by maintaining relationships with both producers and traders. She also coordinates marketing and event planning.
