Shooting of ?Await Further Instructions? soon to commence at GSP Studios
From Monday 5th October, the shooting of Sci-Fi Thriller ?Await Further Instructions? shall begin at GSP Studios in York for five weeks.
The Sci-Fi Thriller is the second feature from director Johnny Kevorkian, also known for his 2008 debut ?The Disappeared?.
Jack Tarling of Shudder Films, and Alan Latham of GSP Studios are producing the film.
?Await Further Instructions? follows the story of a regular family with an irregular Christmas day. They wake up on the traditionally festive morning to find an eerie black substance encompassing their home. This grim reality sinks in even deeper when they turn on the television and the message to ?Stay indoors and await further instructions? is ominously announced.
The cast includes names such as David Bradley (The Harry Potter franchise), Sam Gittins (Howl) and Holly Weston (Hollyoaks).
Support from organisations such as Northern Film & Media and Digital City Innovations has been a huge help in project development, financing has been assisted by Film London, and development of marketing strategies has been supported by Creative England.
